Chiune Sugihara was from Yaotsu, Gifu Prefecture, and so was my mother who grew up in the country town.
Chiune Sugihara Memorial Museum is located in Yaotsu. I have known about him since I was young and respect him.
So it may have been my destiny to have a connection in Lithuania. If I visit there in the future, I hope to go to Lithuania’s Sugihara Memorial Museum as well.
