In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the formation KEMURI, three US Sukapunk bands will come to Japan and hole "Big Sukankin Party"!!

REEL BIG FISH
The Skapunk band centered by Aaron Vanette of Vo/G. It was made in 1992 in Orange, California in US.
97年オペレーション・アイヴィーのカバー曲を含む『KEEP YOUR RECIEPT』EPを発表。’98年にWARPED TOUR JAPANで初来日。絶妙なハモりコーラスと“おバカ”ノリなパーティー・サウンドが日本でも大ウケ。99年にリリースしたアルバム『WHY DO THEY ROCK SO HARD?』に収録された、a-haのカバー曲「テイク・オン・ミー」が同年公開の映画『ベースケットボール 裸の球を持つ男』の挿入歌として一躍大ヒット。
In 1997, they released "KEEP YOUR RECIEPT" including the cover songs of '97 Operation Ivy. In 1998 they visited Japan for the first time on their "WARPED TOUR JAPAN". Their exquisite harmonizing chorus and "silly" party sound became popular in Japan. "Take On Me", the cover song of a-ha and included in their album "WHY DO THEY ROCK SO HARD?" released in 1999, made a popular success as an insert song of "Baseket ball: the man with a naked ball", shown to public in the same year.
以後、幾度かのメンバーチェンジを経て今なお、アーロンを中心にパンク・シーンの第一線で精力的なライヴ活躍を展開中。最後に来日した2003年以来、再来日を望むファンの声が絶えることはなかったが、今回のSKA BRAVOでついに実現！ 何と12年ぶりの来日を果たす!!

After that, they changed members several times, and are still performing energetic lives at the forefront of the punk scene centering Aaron. Since their last visit Japan in 2003, their fans wanted them to visit Japan again. And at last it will true in SKA BRAVO. They will visit Japan again after 12 years!!

■LESS THAN JAKE／レス・ザン・ジェイク
1992年にアメリカ・フロリダ州で結成された5人組スカパンク・バンド。’95年に1st.アルバム『pezzcore』をリリース。疾走感のあるメロディックなサウンドで一躍脚光を浴びた。'98年に全米で行った" SKA AGAINST THE RACISM”ツアーでは、KEMURIがサポート・アクトを務めた。これがKEMURIにとって初めてのUSツアーであり、LTJと強い絆ができるきかっけとなった。
LESS THAN JAKE
Quintet Sukapunk band that was made in Florida in the United States, in 1992. In 1995, they released the first album, "pezzcore". They were spotlighted with their speedy melodic sound. In their "SKA AGAINST THE RACISM" tour performed in the United states in 1998, KEMURI served as the support act. This was the first US tour for KEMURI, and motivated him to have a strong tie with LTJ.
さらに2007年に出演したフジロックでは、ホワイト・ステージを埋め尽くしたクラウドの前で圧倒的なパフォーマンスを見せつけ、客席に巨大なサークル・ピットが巻き起こる盛り上がりを見せた。今回来日するUS勢のなかではもっとも来日回数も多く、2013年の単独ツアー以来2年ぶりの来日となる。なお昨年よりREEL BIG FISHとのカップリング・ツアーを欧米各地で行っており、KEMURIの伊藤ふみおが2014年2月にロンドンで行われたショウを観戦し両バンドとの旧交を暖めている。’
In Fuji Rock festival, where they appeared in 2007, they performed overwhelmingly in front of the crowds that filled the white stage, showing the excitement that causes the huge circle pit to wind in the audience. They came to Japan the most often in the US groups visiting to Japan this time. And it is their visit to Japan in two years since their solo tour in 2013. They have performed coupling tours with REEL BIG FISH in various areas of Europe and the United States since last year. Fumio Ito of KEMURI watched the show performed in London in Feb 2014, and has reestablished his old ties with the both bands.
96年のメジャー・デビュー・アルバム『LOSING STREAK』に収録された「AUTOMATIC」は、KEMURIがカヴァー・アルバム『KEMURIFIED』でとりあげた。

1989年にSAX兼ボーカリスト、マイク・パークを中心にカリフォルニア州サンノゼで結成された、スカパンク・バンド。
KEMURI covered "AUTOMATIC", that was included in their '96 major debut album "LOSING STREAK" in his cover album "KEMURIFIED".

SKANKIN 'PICKLE
The Sukapunk band made in San Jose, California in 1989, centering on Mike Park, saxophone player and vocalist.
在米コリアンのマイクの個性とハードコア・パンクにホーンを加えたバンド・スタイルを築き上げたオリジネーター。西海岸を中心にヒーロー的人気を博し、そのキャリアを積み重ねながらも、自ライブではチケット代が5〜7ドル（6~800円程度）、CDも8ドル以下というDIY精神に基づいた活動を展開。バンド自体は'96年で解散し、わずか7年間の活動ではあったがシーンにおける貢献度は偉大で、“伝説のスカパンク・バンド”と語り継がれている。
The originator that built up their band-style by adding the horn to the character of American Korean Mike and the hardcore punk. They are popular like a hero centering in the west coast. While they build their career, they charge only 5-7 dollars (about 6-800 yen) for their live, and sell their CD at less than 8 dollars. They develop their activity based on DIY (Do it yourself). They disbanded in 1996. Although their band activity was only for 7 years, their contribution to the music scene was great. They are told by word of mouth as "Sukapunk band of the legend".
解散後、マイクはインディー・レーベルASIAN MAN RECORDSを立ち上げ後発のバンドをサポートする傍ら、自らもThe ChinkeesやThe Bruce Lee Bandなどを結成。2014年9月には新代田FEVERで開催されたKEMURI主催のイベント“SKA BRAVO”にThe Bruce Lee Bandで出演した。
After disbanding, Mike foundered the indie label, "ASIAN MAN RECORDS" and supports the developing bands. While doing this, he made his own bands, "The Chinkees" and "The Bruce Lee Band". In September 2014, he appeared as a member of The Bruce Lee Band on "SKA BRAVO", the event held at Shinsirota FEVER, sponsored by KEMURI.
KEMURIとの縁は古く、初期のアメリカ・ツアーではKEMURIのメンバーにマイクの自宅をホテル代わりに提供するなど、アットホームな関係を築いている。またマイクはKEMURIに「Don't Know」、「Kanasimiyo」、「mangetsu no yoru ni hana」など、ファンの間で人気の高い曲も提供している。今回なんとKEMURIの結成20周年に合わせ、伝説のSKANKIN’ PICKLEが奇跡の再結成を果たす！
He has a strong bond with KEMURI. He offered Mike's house as a hotel to member so of KEMURI in their early tour in the US. They have built a homely relationship. In addition, Mike made "Don't Know", "Kanasimiyo" and "mangetsu no yoru ni hana" for KEMURI, which are popular among their fans. Now the legendary SKAKIN' PICKLE will get back together miraculously on the 20th anniversary of KEMURI!
