堀内さんとは、2〜3年前にTwitterをきっかけで知り合いましたが、その後昨年夏ごろからお互いの職場が近いこともあり、仕事終わりに頻繁にお茶や食事に行くことが増えました。
現在も月に1〜2回、お食事に行きます。
彼は自分と同じ北日本の出身で、ご実家の青森の話などが自分にとっても親しみ深いものだったのが理由かもしれません。
性格はややマイペースなところもありますが、温厚です。
交友関係も幅広く、私は一緒に行ったことがないのですが、スノーボードなどのレジャーなども楽しんでいるようです。

I met Mr. Horiuchi a few years ago through Twitter. Then, since last summer we have been meeting more often for tea or dinner after work as his work and mine are close by. Currently, we dine together 1 or twice a month.
He and I are both from Northern Japan, so his story of his hometown in Aomori was something I could relate to easily. That may be the reason we struck up a friendship.
He’s rather easy-going, but warm-hearted. He has a large circle of friends, and I have never accompanied him there, but he seems to be enjoying leisure such as snowboarding.
