You can specify the data to be transferred to the Office files from the SAP system, and then select the General Data → Workstation Applications Definition in Customizing Document Management (CA-DMS). You can transfer document data, class data, text, and the file properties of user settings. Those can be stored as Office document files and can be easily found later to fit the purpose of the organization.

To design data which transfer from SAP system to Office file, select general data> work station application definition with customizing ofdocument management(CA-DMS). We can transfer documented data, class data, text, and user setting file property and then store the file information at the Office documentation so that we easily find out in accordance with purpose of organization.

You can use the file property technology for SAP release ERP 2005 or later. Please check with the SAP note 964107.
Prerequisites
- There is a need to select the data of the customized document management (CA-DMS) → workstation application definition, and set the file property technology (FORM_INF) beforehand.

- Upon setting the file property technology in the data transfer from the SAP system, once the document is in modify mode, all the SAPOLE links will be replaced with the file property (DOCPROPERTY) of the original application file that were linked with the transferred item. A file property with the following syntax will be transferred.
