It seems like when I was young, high school and university students were more confident compared to now. They did not do what most people do, and does what most people don't do, that was a trend. Young people these days do what the others do and they don't feel comfortable if they are not wearing what the others wear. Of course anyone can be trend conscious, but trend is not what you chase, but it is what you manage to follow, that's what I think.

When I was young, high-school or university students seemed to have more confident than younger people nowadays. They tended to prefer to keep away from things which most of people preferred to do. The young people tend to follow what other people are doing and they feel nervous if they don't wear things which other people are wearing.Of course anybody can be sensitive to the trend, but I think the trend shouldn't be the one people to follow, but the one people to try to catch up somehow.

When I was younger, high school students or university students looked like having more confidence than recent young people. It tended to be like they did not want to do what most people did and they wanted to do what most people did not do. Recently, it looks like young people do not feel comfortable if they do not do what other people do and wear the same clothes as other people. It is ok for anyone to get interests in latest fashion, but I believe that trends are something you can follow somehow but are not something you have to chase after.
