僕が若い頃は、高校生や大学生は今の若い人に比べてもう少し自信があったようだ。たいていの人がすることはせず、たいていの人がしないことをする、そういう傾向があった。今の若い人は他人がすることをし、他人が着ているものを着ないと落ち着かないようだ。もちろん誰でも流行に敏感であってよいのだが、流行は追いかけるものではなく、何とかついていくものではないだろうか。
