観光庁は7月1日付けで人事を発表。MICE担当参事官に同庁観光経済担当の内田浩行（うちだ・ひろゆき）氏が就任した。
同氏は外務省で在カナダ日本国大使館一等書記官、欧州連合日本政府代表部参事官、外務省経済局国際貿易課サービス貿易室長などを歴任。24年から観光庁で参事官を務めていた。外務省時代の経験を活かし、参加者の視点を取り入れた国際会議誘致強化などに手腕を期待されている。

Japan Tourism Agency announced the personal affairs effective July 1. The agency has inducted Mr. Uchida, Hiroyuki as the MICE Counselor who was in charge of agency’s tourism economy before.
His former positions include the first secretary of Japanese embassy to Canada, the counselor of the Mission of Japan to the European Union and the head of the service trade office of MOF Economic Affairs Bureau International Trade Division. He has been working as the counselor since 2012 at the Japan Tourism Agency.
