本セッションでは，明治大学宮下研究室が主催する『ABnormal Programming, 普通じゃないプログラミング発表会（以下，ABPro）』についての展示を行う．展示概要はABProで発表された全ての発表内容をまとめた資料と，その中でも選りすぐりのシステムデモ，また学生による運営の裏側や，ABProが学生にもたらした効果とその要因を分析した結果などである．次にABProとは何かについて紹介する．
ABProは2008年に「自由プログラム制作課題発表会」という名で始まった．
ABPro started in 2008 under the name of “Presentation of Free Program Preparation”
As a summary of presentation include the materials containing entire contents that were announced at the ABPro, and also in that contents there will be selection system demo, furthermore the other side of operation from students view, effect of ABPro on students and the result of analyzing the factors.
Next there will be introduction related something to ABPro.
ABPro began in 2008 in the name of "freedom program production challenges."
ABProでの発表は任意であり，研究室のメンバーに強制参加を強いるものではない．当初は発表件数が25件程であったが，その後年を重ねるごとに31，36，46件と増えていった．2009年からは大学のメディアホールを借り，200人弱の参加者を前に発表を行うほどの大規模なものとなった．また，2010年には企業の方の参加と発表も行われるようになり，大学の枠を超えたイベントになった．
Presentation at ABPro is voluntary, and no one in the Lab is compelled to join. At the first presentation, number of presentations was some 25, and, year after year, it increased to 31, 36, 46 and so on. We leased Media Hall of Meiji University in 2009; the scale became so large that we did presentations in front of 200 participants. In 2010, we received participants and presentations from companies. The presentation became an event exceeding university frame scale.
発表の内容に関しては「自分が作ったプログラムであれば何でもよい」とし，昨年には「人を驚かせ，笑わせ，幸せにするようなプログラム」をテーマに発表が行われた．2010年9月のABPro以降には，年に1度の発表では満足できなくなった学生たちによる，ゲリラ的なABProがこの1年半で10回も行われた．発表件数などの数字を見るだけでも，ABProの規模が大きくなっていることがわかるが，ABProの目的は規模を大きくすることではない．
Everything is OK as the content of presentation so long as “a presenter makes the program by him/her-self”. The theme program last year was based on “to make people frighten, laugh, and be happy”. After September in 2010, students were not satisfied with the presentation once a year. So as many as 10 guerrilla ABPro’s were held within this year and a half. Only seeing the increased number of presentation, one can see that the scale of ABPro is becoming so large. However, the aim of ABPro is not to make it big.
ABProには「自分が一番会場を驚かせ，楽しませることができる」と考え参加する発表者と，ここで行われる発表を純粋に楽しみにし，あわよくば自分も会場を驚かしたいと願う者が数多く参加する．この会場での発表に触れ，そこからアイディアや技術を得ることはもちろん，なによりもこの会場のエネルギーを受け，以降の研究活動のモチベーションにつなげることこそがABProの効果であり，目的である．
ABProでの発表が，その後の研究活動に与えた影響の実例をいくつか取り上げる．
At ABPro, presenters think that they can best make the hall excited and make people enjoy. Other participants want to purely enjoy the presentations here. Of course, if possible, they also want to make the hall excited themselves. To see live presentations at the hall, to acquire ideas and techniques, and above all, to get the energy of the hall and make it as a motivation power for one’s later research activity, all are the effect and real goal that ABPro wants.
Here I will show some examples that presentations at ABPro gave effects on the later research activities.
ABPro2011で学部4年生が発表した「視線は口ほどにものを言う」は，動画上に視聴者の視線情報を重畳表示するシステムである．この発表により，他人の視線すらもコンテンツになる可能性を見出し，研究に発展した．そして2012年3月に行われたinteraction2012にてインタラクティブ発表を行っている．「プログラミングに対するモチベーションを向上させる新言語HMMMML」は，その後3回の学会発表を経て，ヒューマンインターフェース学会論文誌に掲載されるまでに至った．
“The visual line says more than the mouth” is a presentation title that a fourth grade student talked at ABPro 201１． The presenter proposed a system that displays the visual line information of a viewer in a multi-redundant way on one screen. He/she discovered the possibility that a visual line of other persons can be the content of a viewer, and developed this finding into subsequent investigation. This result was presented at “Interaction 2012” held in March, 2012. The result of the research, “New language HMMMML increases motivation for programming”, appeared in the Transaction of Human Interface Society after presented to conferences three times.
CEDECの会場では，参加者の方にABProの熱気を感じ取ってもらうための工夫として，当時の発表動画に参加者のツイートを重畳表示した映像と，過去の発表物を実際に体験できるシステムデモを用意する．また，議論の材料として，上記で述べたような実例や，ABProが研究活動にどのように影響を与えたのかを分析した資料を用意する．このセッションを通して，ABProの仕組みをいかにしてプログラミング教育や新人研修に転用するか，著者らがまとめた考えをもとに参加者の方たちと議論したい．
At the venue of CEDEC, we prepared some materials in order for the participants to feel the zeal and excitement of ABPro. These preparations are, for example, a screen that mixes tweets of the participant and the real presentation movies at the real time. System demonstration which participants really experience the past articles will be also prepared. As materials for discussion, documents will be prepared to show the examples stated above, and materials which analyze how ABPro actually affected to the research activity will be given. In this cession we would like to explain how to apply ABPro system to programming education and education for new recruits. I want to discuss with the participants on the basis of the idea which we summarized during our research.
