ミズキの返答が意外だったのか、マユミは少し驚いたように口を開く。
だが、その感情を見せまいとしたのか、マユミはふんと鼻を鳴らして去っていった。
ナツメ：「僕が手伝っても、今日中に廊下の窓を全部なんて無理だよ」

ミズキ：「徹夜する体力もないオバサンはもう引退しろって意味を込めて、やり遂げてみせるよ」
それは強がりでも何でもない、自信があるから言えることだった。
徹夜なんてミズキは今まで何度もしてきたのだ。大半が「眠ったら死ぬ」という状況下ではあったが。
