内部では日本の伝統的な家屋に設置されている”屋外と屋内の中間”的な意味を持つスペース”土間”を設け、引込み式の大開口とする事で更に庭との親和性を高めた。
また中庭や能舞台の様な縁側を巡らす事により、季節の移り変わりを直接肌でも感じ取れる様にした。
