At present I work concurrently as adviser of Bank A and chairman of IBM.
This is something that both Bank A and IBM knows.
In Japan it's extremely common so it won't be a problem at all.
I hold the position of IBM chairman but that is because of a request from Tom.
IBM is an unusually small organization so I thought I'd have more credibility as a senior employee outside of the company.
That is why even if you call me chairman, I do not actually have any authority.
Of course, I'm not even a board member.

I concurrently hold the post of a consultant of A Bank and a chairperson of IBM.
These things are understood both of A Band and IBM.
In Japan, this is very common, there is no problem.
Although I am giving a chairperson of IBM, this is because Tom asked me this.
IBM is very small organization, probably this was thought that a person who is in the position senior makes more reliable for outside the company.
So though I am a chairperson, I have no right actually.
Of course, I am not one of the board members.

Currently I hold two positions: the adviser at A and the chairman at IBM.
This has been acknowledged by both A and IBM.
This is quite normal in Japan, which can never be an issue.
I carry the title as the chairman of IBM, because it was requested by Mr. Tom.
IBM is a small organization, so I guess he assumed that setting a senior staff in the organization would appear more credible to external stakeholders.
For this, I do not actually have any right despite my title being the chairman.
I am not a board member either, of course.
