私は、現在、Ａ銀行の顧問とＩＢＭの会長を兼務しています。
このことは、Ａ銀行とＩＢＭの双方が、了解している事です。
日本においては、極めて普通のことで、全く問題になることはありません。

私は、ＩＢＭの会長を名乗っていますが、これは、トムさんが私に依頼して来たからです。
ＩＢＭは非常に小さい組織ですので、社外に向けて、シニアな立場の社員がいる事が信用が増すと考えたからだと思います。
このため、会長とは言っても、実質的には私に何の権限もありません。
もちろん、ボードメンバーでもありません。

Currently I hold two positions: the adviser at A and the chairman at IBM.
This has been acknowledged by both A and IBM.
This is quite normal in Japan, which can never be an issue.

I carry the title as the chairman of IBM, because it was requested by Mr. Tom.
IBM is a small organization, so I guess he assumed that setting a senior staff in the organization would appear more credible to external stakeholders.
For this, I do not actually have any right despite my title being the chairman.
I am not a board member either, of course.
