私は、現在、Ａ銀行の顧問とＩＢＭの会長を兼務しています。
このことは、Ａ銀行とＩＢＭの双方が、了解している事です。
日本においては、極めて普通のことで、全く問題になることはありません。

私は、ＩＢＭの会長を名乗っていますが、これは、トムさんが私に依頼して来たからです。
ＩＢＭは非常に小さい組織ですので、社外に向けて、シニアな立場の社員がいる事が信用が増すと考えたからだと思います。
このため、会長とは言っても、実質的には私に何の権限もありません。
もちろん、ボードメンバーでもありません。

I concurrently hold the post of a consultant of A Bank and a chairperson of IBM.
These things are understood both of A Band and IBM.
In Japan, this is very common, there is no problem.

Although I am giving a chairperson of IBM, this is because Tom asked me this.
IBM is very small organization, probably this was thought that a person who is in the position senior makes more reliable for outside the company.
So though I am a chairperson, I have no right actually.
Of course, I am not one of the board members.
