革の種類について、皆様はいくつご存知でしょうか？
動物の皮を使った本革には、牛革だけでも肉厚で強い成牛革、生後6ヶ月～2年くらいまでの中牛革（キップ）、生後6ヶ月くらいまでの仔牛皮（カーフ）といった種類があり、牛革以外では、ヤギ革（ゴート）、羊革（シープ）、仔牛革（ラム）、豚革（ピッグスキン）、ワニ革、ヘビ革、オーストリッチ革など挙げればキリがないほどの種類があります。
