Comment purger / remplacer le liquide de freins avec une bouteille
Respectez l'ordre de purge recommandé par le constructeur
Sur la Peugeot 206, la purge s'effectue dans cet ordre :
Pour un remplacement complet du liquide de frein, aspirez le liquide usagé contenu dans le réservoir du maître cylindre (cette opération n'est pas nécessaire pour une simple purge du circuit)
Remplissez le réservoir avec du liquide de frein neuf
Purge de la roue avant gauche
Déposez le capuchon de protection
Posez la clé sur la vis de purge
Connectez un tuyau souple sur la vis de purge (par exemple un tuyau de lave glace)
La connexion doit être parfaitement étanche : si nécessaire, serrez le tuyau avec un rislan

On a Peugeot 206 the purge will be done in this order:
For a complete replacement of brake fluid, drain the used liquid contained in the master cylinder reservoir (this operation is not required for a simple purging of the circuit)

Purge the left front wheel
Remove the protective cap
Place the wrench on the bleeder screw
Connect a hose to the bleed screw (for example windshield washer hose)
The connection must be completely sealed: if necessary tight the hose with a rislan
Fill the thank with the new brake fluid.
Purge the left fron wheel.
Remove the protective cap.
Place the wrench on the vent screw.
Connect a hose to the vent screw (for example a windshield washer hose).
The connection must be completely sealed: if necessary, thighten the huse with a rislan.
Placez une bouteille de 25 cl à la hauteur de la vis de purge
Versez 2 à 3 centimètres de liquide de frein dans la bouteille

Activate the brake pedal 3 or 4 times
Loosen the screw of purge a quarter turn.
Activate the brake pedal a few times slowly with one-third of the stroke.
Do not press the brake pedal more than one-third of the stroke: you would risk damaging the joints of the master cylinder if you push the pedal totally to the bottom.
You can place a block under the pedal to make sure not to exceed one-third of the stroke.
Pour 2 to 3 cm of the brake liquid into the bottle
Insert the other end of the hose to the bottom of the bottle
The brake liquid at the bottom of the bottle will prevent the air from rising along the hose during the purge
3 or 4 times step on the brake pedal
Loosen the vent screw one by one quarter of the full turn
Slowly press on the brake pedal several times to one third of its depth
Do not press the brake pedal more than one third of its depth: you might end up exhausting the joints of the master cylinder if you press the pedal to the full depth
You can put a wedge under the pedal to be sure that you do not exceed one third of the depth of the pedal
Faites régulièrement l'appoint de liquide dans le réservoir : l'air ne doit jamais rentrer dans le maître cylindre

Il est possible que les diamètres des vis de purge soient différents à l'arrière et à l'avant : utilisez un tuyau de diamètre approprié
Contrôlez le frein en actionnant la pédale qui doit être ferme. Sinon, répéter la purge pour éliminer l'air du circuit de freinage
Faites toujours un essai de freinage après la purge avant de prendre la route car la présence d'air dans le circuit de freinage peut être fatale
