From my experience, my grand father passed away of lung cancer and he suffered extremely for about 3 days before he died. Considering such scene I have seen, I think euthanasia should be approved after all.
However, comparing to other countries, Japan doesn't seem having an active discussion on euthanasia.
I think it is important to have a solid opinion concerning the issue of death that will happen to anyone in due time.

In my own experience, my grandfather died from lung cancer 3 year ago. But he was extremely in pain 3 days before he died. And looking at that kind of scenario, I think that it is only fitting to acknowledge mercy killing.
However, it seems that Japan is not progressing with the discussions on mercy killing as compared to other countries.
I think it is very important to have a firm opinion with regards to "inevitable / approaching death" problems.

From my experience, my grandfather started suffering so much about 3 days before he passed away from lung cancer 3 years ago. Having witnessed this kind of scene, I believe euthanasia should be approved.
However, it appears that euthanasia hasn't been actively discussed in Japan compared to other countries. It is important to have a concrete opinion about the issue on death that eventually comes to anyone.

As my own experience, my grandfather passed away because of a lung cancer three years ago, and he had been suffered since three days before the day he was gone. I saw the situation, and I feel euthanasia should be permitted.
However, the discussion about euthanasia has not been developed in Japan relatively to other countries.
It is important to have a stable opinion about death which comes at some future day.
