それなりにコンパクト(笑)で広角＆高倍率ズームが購入ポイントでした。

コンデジの中では決してカッコイイ部類ではないですが
高倍率ズーム機として見ればレンズの大きさもデザインも嫌いじゃない。
むしろコンパクトにまとまったなとカッコ良く見えるのは私だけですかね。
余談：ブラウンを買いましたが綺麗でした。
・画質
私みたいな素人には違いがわからないですが…十分綺麗です。

みなさんご指摘されてる通りズーム＆シャッターボタンを操作する時
（特にズーム操作）にモードダイヤルが勝手に回る時があります。
これも慣れでしょうけど…
動画のボタンは特に違和感なかったです。
・バッテリー
あまり持ちは良くないような。
交換用のバッテリーがほしいですね。旅行には充電器を忘れないようにしないと。
・携帯性
現時点では高倍率ズーム機に携帯性を望むものではないと思います。

When you operate the zoom and the shutter button (especially the zoom), the mode dial sometimes move spontaneously.

ただ冒頭で述べたように、それなりにコンパクトなので◎

私ももちろんですが嫁さんが使いやすいのが前提なので、
おまかせiAや撮影モードなどは簡単で使い易いと思います。
ただマニュアル機能がもう少し充実してれば撮影がもっと楽しかったかも…
・液晶
一昔前のデジカメしか知らないので、画面が大きく綺麗だと感じました。
・ホールド感
ズッシリ感は否めませんが、片手で持っても意外と安定してます。
