I just talked to the sales rep about the repair. I was told then that they were sending it to Taylor for repair. It was just explained to me that photos were sent to Taylor and they said the problem was due to humidity and they wouldn't repair it under wnty. It was repaired locally by reputable luthier. I was told the return the guitar and they would try to have Taylor examine the problem again.
He also said that Taylor has been more difficult to deal w/ in the last six months when they made management changes. I would have certainly thought they would exchange it for a new 2014, but that doesn't look like it'll happen. I wouldn't be opposed to replacing the guitar for you but we would be waiting again for it to become available. What do you think the best course of action is?
