持論である地動説を主張したことから、当時の教会勢力より異端として迫害されたイタリア・トスカーナの天才ガリレオ・ガリレイ。その偉人を祖先に持つのが主人公であるフェラーリ三姉妹です。メタン・ハイトレードの独占による世界のエネルギー支配を目論む巨大企業アドニムーン・カンパニーから無実の罪を押しつけられお尋ね者になっていまいますが、世界を変える力を持つという「ガリレオ・テゾロ」と呼ばれるガリレオの遺産を探すため、巨大飛行メカ「ガリレオ号」で世界中を旅する物語です。

Genius Galileo Galileim from Toscana in Italy who was viewd as heretical and persecuted by Holy Office at the moment. This is a story about one of three Ferrari sisters whose ancester is the great man above mentioned. She was wanted by police as being falsely charged with a crime by a megacorporation Adoni Moon Company that try to dominate the world energy by monopolizing methane hydrate. However, she travels around the world with a huge mechanical flight "GALILEO" to look for the heritage of Galileo which is called "Galileo Tesoro".

Galileo Galilei, a genius of Italy Tuscany was persecuted by the Church force at that time as heterodoxy for claiming Heliocentric theory. Heroic Ferrari three sisters claim the ancestry to this great man. This is a story of travelling around the world by huge flight machine "Galileo" to search for heritage of Galileo, who had the power to change the world, and also called as " Galileo Dessole" despite of the false charges pressed against and treated as a "Wanted Man" by giant Adonimun Company that envisions world energy control by monopolizing high methane trade.
三女星月（はづき）はメカいじりが大好きな13歳の女の子で、彼女が物語の重要なキーを握ることになります。ガリレオ号も彼女の設計し自宅地下で密かに作りました。まるでプラモデルか何かみたいにあの巨大なものを作ってしまうのがすごいし、民間なのに何故かミサイルなどの武器を搭載していたりと、恐れ入ってしまいます（まあ、そうしなければ物語にならないでしょうが）。ガリレオ号のメインシステムが金魚の形のホログラフィで、戦闘の時などライフルを構えた形になるところなど、妙にかわいらしいです。

The third daughter Hazuki is a girl of 13 years who loves messing around with the mechanics and she is a wild card for the story. She designed the Galileo and built it clandestinely in the basement of her house. It is amazing that she creats such a huge machine as if it were a plastic model and in addition it loads weapons like missiles although she is just a private citizen(if not, it would not become a good story...) It is oddly cute that the main system of the Galileo is based on goldfish-shaped holography and it changes into a rifle-raising shape at the scene of a fight.

It is great that she creates that large item as if it were plastic model, and it is private item but I was so
impressed that weapon such as missile is loaded for unknown reason(unless she creates it, it cannot be a story).
The main system of Galileo is holography whose shape is gold fish, and when it has a rifle in battle, it looks very cute.

作品中金魚がよく登場しますが、これもキーワードになってきます。
梅津泰臣氏が原案と監督をしています。梅津監督というと、OVA「メガゾーン23/PartⅡ」や「KATE」など絵柄的に強めのキャライメージが強いのですが、今作品のキャラはそれに比べるとゆるめで少しかわいらしくなっているな、と感じました。

In the story, a gold fish appears frequently and this is one of the key words.
Yasuomi Umetsu made a original draft and also direct the film. Mr. Umezu reminds people of strong-looking characters such as OVA "Mega zone/PartII" and "KATE", but I felt that the characters of this story were more friendly and cute-looking.

現在同監督の「弁魔士セシル」が放映中ですが、この物語の主人公セシルと星月が何かかぶる感じがありましたが（乗っている原動機付き自転車が似ているなど）、セシルとガリレイドンナ、同時進行で製作を進めていたようですね。Blu-ray・DVDが出たら両方を比べながら見るのも面白いし、是非オススメです。

Currently "Wizard Barristers Benmashi Cecil"directed by Mr.Umezu is broadcast. I feel that there is something common between Cecil, the main character in this story and Hazuki. (For exemple, the motorized-bycycles they ride are similar.). It seems that they were produced at the same time. It is interesting to compare two movies when Blu-ray Discs of the movies will be released and I strongly recommend to do so.

"Magician Cecil" directed by the same director is on the air now.
It seems that Cecil, heroin, and Star Moon in this story are overwrapped(bicycle powered by motor that they ride is similar, etc.), and Galileidonna and Cecil are being manufactured at the same time.
It must be fun and very recommendable to watch by comparing them after Blu-ray DVD is released.
