Jean Kirschteinは、Erenのライバルポジションにいるキャラです。
彼は第104期生の中で、成績が第6位と、訓練学校をとても優秀な成績で卒業しています。
ですがTitanを倒すために戦士になったErenとは違い、Titanと離れた安全な土地で暮らしたいがために戦士になる事を志願しました。
そのため考え方が違うErenとは何度か言い争いをしています。
…実は、彼はMikasaに一目ぼれをしており、Mikasaにとって特別な存在であるErenには複雑な思いを思っています。

Jean Kirschtein is a man character of Eren's rival.
He graduated training school with an excellent record, the 6th record in the 104th graduating class.
But he did not volunteered for warrior like Eren who volunteered to beat Titan. He volunteered to live in safety place, far away from Titan.
So that he often conflicted with Eren because of different opinion.
Actually, he has fallen in love with Mikasa so that he has held complex emotion against Eren, because Eren has been a special man for Mikasa.

なので最初の頃は、私から見ても「性格が悪い子」だなぁ…と感じていました。
ですが彼も、ある事件をきっかけをきっかけに考え方が変わります。
彼はRivailleの様に英雄的な活躍はしませんが、「Titanと戦う恐怖」「死がいつもすぐそばにある」という事の意味を、私達に教えてくれます。
漫画ではその事件をきっかけに、しばらく登場しませんでしたが、最新話で生存が確認されました！
彼は作者のお気に入りのキャラクターなので、これからどんどん活躍すると思います！
成長した彼を、早く見たいです！

He could not become hero like Rivaille, but he taught us the meaning of "The terror to fight with Titan" and "Dead is always nearby us".
Is a comic, he disappeared from that case for a while, but I found him alive in the last story!
Author loves him, so that I think he will play so excellent from now!
I want to see his changed character as soon as possible.
But he will change his opinion by a case.

I did not like him at first.
But he changes his mind when something happens.
He do not flourish like Rivaille, but he tells us the meaning of "the fear to fight against Titan" and "There always death with you."
In manga, after an affair, he did not show up for long time, but finally showed up in brand new episode.
The author loves him so much, so he will flourish.
I want to see him grow.
