私たち「DMC」は、2012年10月、東京にて活動を開始し、第一回は大阪にて、この度3月30日愛知におきまして第2回大会を開催する運びとなりました。「DMC」とは、”Deaf Mixed Martial Arts Championship”の頭文字より作りました造語で、「聴覚障害者総合格闘技大会」という意味です。

We, DMC, began our activities in Tokyo in October 2012 and held our first event in Osaka. We will be holding our second event on March 30 in Aichi. DMC is an acronym for "Deaf Mixed Martial Arts Championship" and indicates "a martial arts competition for those who are hearing impaired."

We, DMC, started our acitvity in Tokyo in October 2012. The first campionship was held in Osaka. The 2nd one is planned to be held in Aichi on March 30, 2013. DMC is a coined word by taking the inital letters from "Deaf Mixed Martial Arts Championship". Today in Japan hard-of-hearing fighters have difficulties in joing championships for hearing ones. Therefore, they hold championships by themselves,
世界にいる同じ立場の格闘家の道を切り開き、ひいては健聴者の大会との障壁をなくすこと、そして武道の究極と言われる「総合格闘技」で切磋琢磨する姿を世界の障害を持つ子供たちやその親御さんたちに披露する事で、新しい希望の光となること、それが私たちの願いであり、目標であります。
そこで日本との親睦が深いトルコで、是非とも第三回大会を開催したいと我々は考えております。どうぞご検討を頂きまして、ご連絡をいただけますでしょうか、よろしくお願い申し上げます。

What is our final purpose and goal?
Our aim is to make and construct the way for the children all over the world, who have hearing difficulties, to be able to compete with non-handicapped children on "comprehensive martial art fighters" arenas. By having the parents see their children train hard themselves by so called “comprehensive combative sport”,, which is the ultimate form of the military arts and see the results, we expect the parents find a new light of hope of their own.
We, therefore, are planning to have the third Great Match in your country,Turkey. You have had a long nice relationship with Japan.
We are thinking in this way, so could you consider about our proposal?

Paving the way for fighters in the same circumstances, moreover bridging the gap with normal auditory people's competitions and showing panache of disables struggling in the "over all finghting" within Budo to those who are diable and thier parents, it become a beacon of hope, it's our hope and purpose.
