2. Upon tapping the START button the pedometer will begin counting. The "evaluating walking" label is a measure against miscounting. Once some predetermined conditions have been met it will disappear, and the steps counted during the evaluation will be added. If you tap the STOP button the counter will stop, and you will be able to swipe the screen sideways and divide up the steps.
