You're not supposed to ask a purchaser to do any inspection, and I think it's your responsible for not doing proper checking.
Physically, it is impossible to do what you asked for since the machine is on client's site.
We're keeping our client waiting, so please send the replacement as soon as possible.
If you cannot offer the replacement, I would officially file a complaint.
