We would love for someone to offer the Sonic Bomb in Japan. Here in the US we sell over 100,000 units a year. Typically or past partners in Japan only focus on the sbp100. This may be due to the certifications needed to sell a product with a US plug.

In the world city ranking for "your favorite city to travel "announced by an American major travel magazine,
Kyoto won the first prize for the first time among the Japanese cities last year.

As the foreign visitors will be expected increasing, we interviewed a chauffeur‐driven hired car driver Isao Tanahara
about the episodes on the foreign visitors.

優等生的なモデルで多くの方におすすめできる

It is a smart model and can be recommended to many people.

【エクステリア】

　インテーク風のバンパーやサイドのキャラクターラインなど、癖の強いデザインは好みが分かれ、最初は違和感がありましたが、そこまで気にならなくなりました。フロントデザインは癖がありますが、リアデザインは格好良い方かと思います。ただ色によってはキッチュに見えるかもしれません・・・シルバー系か黒が割とエクステリアデザインに合っています。一部でボンネット裏や給油口付近の塗装が省略されていることを非難する声がありますが、個人的にはあまり気になりませんでした。

[Exterior]

A bumper with air intake design and the character line of the side and so on, which are so strong design as making me feel uncomfortable first now I got familiar with them. The front design is still too strong for me but the rear design seems nice. It might seem “kitsch” depending on the colors ; silver and black suit well with the exterior design. As I saw a criticism on the omission of painting on the back of hood and fuel filter opening around, I personally did
not care about it.

１．５Ｌターボ＋ＭＴのＦＦコンパクトスポーツ車からの乗換えです。

その前は、レガシィなど４ＷＤスポーツ車を乗っていました。



２０１４／１０ の納車からひと冬越え、感想もすこし変わりましたので、レビュー内容を更新しました。(2015/5/14)





【車高】

ＦＦよりも腰高で、ずんぐりむっくり。

タイヤとフェンダーの隙間が目立ちます。



現在市販されているＧＰ６用のローダウンサスもさほど車高が下がらないようです。

I changed the car from FF compact sports 5Lturbo ＋ＭＴ car.
I used to drive a 4WD sports like LEGACY.
One winter has passed since the delivery of vehicle in Oct. 2014 and my feeling has changed a bit, so I updated the contents of the review. (2015/5/14)

[vehicle height]
Higher than FF ropy-poly, wide and obvious rooms between the tire and the fender.

The Lowdown for GP6 now on sale has higher vehicle hight than I expected either.

ローダウンするなら、ノーマルＦＦと同等の車高では満足できないでしょう。

車高の高さは、冬期間の走破性能のアドバンテージとして諦めます





【燃費】

平日（週５日）朝晩の通勤（平たん路、往復３０ｋｍ）と週末のドライブ（５０～１００ｋｍ程度）の使用で、

現在（社外軽量ホイール＆純正タイヤ（１８５／６０－１５））は２1ｋｍ/ｌ前後、

冬期間（純正ホイール＆ブリザックＶＲＸ（１８５／６０－１５））で１６ｋｍ/l前後。



期待したほど、燃費が良くありません。

The same hight of vehicle would not be enough for satisfaction in case of lowdown.
The hight of vehicle is not important for me as driving quality takes advantage at the winter time.

[Fuel Efficiency]

After using the car from Mon to Fri (5days a week) every morning and evening to work (flat road 30km go and return)and on weekends drinving (50-100km around) now 21km/l around with ( lightweight wheel of other company & genuine tire 185/60-15) at the winter time 16km/l around with (genuine wheel & BLIZZAK VRS 185-60-15)

The fuel efficiency is not good as I expected.

ｅ燃費などを見ると、私は平均値のようですが、もっと高い燃費を叩きだしている方もいるので、私の乗り方が悪いのかもしれません。





【高速走行】

高速道路を巡航する場合はノーマルモードが燃費が良いと思いますが、

低速のトラックの追い越しなど、加減速をする場合はＳモードで走った方が燃費が良くなるようです。





【価格】

多少割高感はありますが「４ＷＤ＋ハイブリッド」で考えたら、ＦＩＴは現状一番オトクな選択だと思います。





【その他】

As for e- fuel efficiency , mine is an avarage and my driving might not be good because others have better fuel efficiency.


[High Speed Driving]
When you drive on the high way the normal mode is good for the fuel efficiency, but when you gets more speed and down getting ahead of slow tracks, S mode driving is good for the fuel efficiency.

[Price]
It might be rather expensive though , FIT is the most reasonable option you could take now among 4WD plus hybrid.

標準のフラットワイパーは、冬期間ガラスに付着した雪をかくほどの強度は無く拭き残しが多発したため、素直にＰＩＡＡの冬用ワイパーに交換しました。



４ＷＤなので標準でコンフォートビューパッケージが装着されています。

フロントワイパー部分のヒーターは冬期間大活躍しますが、フロントウィンドウ両端の段差が大きいので、雪が溜まりやすいのが難点。

The standard flat wiper has been changed to PIAA winter wiper because it could not wipe out the whole snow on the glass in winter.

As it is 4WD, it has the comfort view package as a standard equipment.

The heater of the front wiper works in winter a lot, but sorry to say that the snow gets into easily to the both edges of the front window because of the unevenness.

言うことを聞かないことが多々あります。

それでも、自分の雑な運転をカバーしてくれる感は高く、その点は満足しています。



ヴェゼルＨＶ（AWD)と迷いましたが、楽しく走れることが重要でしたので、車重の軽いＦＩＴ－ＨＶにしました。

そのＦＩＴ－ＨＶでも走りに満足してませんので、ヴェゼルを買っていたらもっと不満に感じたと思います。



４ＷＤ性能については、雪道でのアドバンテージを感じますが、フルタイム４ＷＤ車と比べると走破性能はだいぶ劣ります。

It often does not work as I expected.
Also It helps a lot with my bad driving, so I appreciate it so much.

VEZEL HV (AWD) was another option and I chosed FIT-HV for it was lighter because fun driving was more important to me.
As FIT-HV is not good enough to drive for me though, VEZEL would be more unsatisfied.

As for the 4DW performance , it could take advantage on the winter road, still it has less run-through performance than full-time 4WD car.

フロントフェンダー内からサドステップ下にかけて走行中の雪が付着しやすいようで、マメに蹴り落としてあげる必要があります（Ｓパッケージだからでしょうか？）



また、ドアミラーと三角窓の間に溜まった雪は、しっかり取り除かないと、ドアを開けた時にその部分の雪が もれなく全部室内に落ちてきます。





【総評】

前車含め、これまでＭＴ車ばかり乗ってきましたので、ＤＣＴには魅力を感じています。



しかし、残念ながらＭＴ車のような「意のままに操る」感覚はありません。

From the front fender to the lower side step it gets easily snow during the drive, you need to kick off the snow often. ( I wonder if it is because S package?) Also the snow between door mirror and the triangle winder should be taken off, otherwise it would fall into the car.

[General Comments]

DCT is so fascinating because I have been driving MT including the previous car.

However, sorry to say that there is no feeling of “control” like in MT car.

また、ＶＳＡの介入で凍結した交差点などでは全く加速しない場面もあり、運転には十分に注意が必要です（ＦＦも同様でしょう）



ひと呼吸おいてスタートするぐらいの余裕が必要なクルマです。

When VSA intervenes unaccelartion takes place at the frozen intersection, you need to drive quite carefully. ( So as to FF)

The car requires slow starting after a deep breath.
