Cook said Apple's main goal in developing the iPhone's screen is to provide the highest quality display for users. That applies to quality, color reproduction, power consumption, longevity, and a multitude of other factors.

Competitors that are producing handsets with jumbo-sized displays are sacrificing many of those important factors, Cook argued. He said Apple would never cut corners to release a product with a subpar display, but hinted that the company could reverse course as screen technology improves.

"We would not ship a larger display iPhone while these trade-offs exist," Cook said during his company's quarterly earnings conference call on Tuesday.

For some people,that's great.For other people,it would be nice to have a big iPhone.

"Essentially,we believe Apple is coming around to the fact that one size per iPhone release does not work for everyone and offering consumers an option has the potential to expand the Company’s market share," writes White.

Most travel purchasing flows simply start with a Google search. The user types in “cheap flights Bangkok,” for example. The search results will show many travel search engines like Agoda, Kayak, Expedia, etc, where the user can do some reference pricing. Usually the purchase intent is very explicit so it makes sense that travel companies spend most of their customer acquisition dollars on search engine marketing. Once on a travel site, the customer selects their target destination, inputs the date parameters, then browses the search results to see if any are attractive. Simple, right?
