今年7月30日、明治天皇が死去されて百年を迎える。明治神宮では夜間特別参拝をはじめとした記念行事を行なう。
明治神宮の夜間参拝は大晦日を除いては特別。今回は、お偲びの気持ちをこめてお参りしていただこうというもので、同時に、東日本大震災における鎮魂と復興の思いもこめ、日本人の心の再建を期すもの。
夜間特別参拝は午後9時30分まで閉門を延長して行なわれる。
南神門前は、序章として竹の光に導かれながら本殿に向かい、南神門や本殿周辺は高貴な淡紫にライトアップされる。

Translation

On the 30th of July this year is the 100 year anniversary of the Emperor Meiji's decease. At Meiji Shrine, it is planned to hold an memorial events including the evening special pray.
The evening pray is a special events except for the time of new year eve. The evening pray held this time is to have visitors pray with thinking of the past as well as repose of souls of victims from the Tohoku earthquake and the revival from it, which expect the rebuilding of Japanese spirits.
This special evening pray will extend their regular open hour and will be available until 9:30p.m.
Before the south shrine gate, you will have bamboo lighting as prologue, which takes you to the main shrine, and the south shrine gate and the main shrine area will welcome you with noble light purple colored light up.

You also would realize that once you made it, you would have to perform at a certain level, but you would realize you aren't ready now. Therefore, you would begin to put a greater effort into getting ready.
Well, why not get ready anyway, even if you don't know whether you are going to make it?This will help insure that you will get what you want, since once you have the skills and interest, there isn't much more you will need, except to keep looking for the right opportunity.

もしまさに欲しい物が手に入るということ知ったら、あなたは今なにをすると思いますか?もし欲しい物が手に入るとすれば、おそらくあなたは欲しい物を手に入れる能力を使うことに集中するでしょう。また一旦それができると、ある程度のレベルまでその能力を向上させようとしますが、今はまだその準備ができてないと気がつくでしょう。そのため、準備ができるように努力するでしょう。
さてここで言いたいのは、欲しい物を手に入れることができるか分からなくても、とにかくその準備してみませんかということです。そうすることにより、一旦能力と興味をもてば、あなたは欲しいものを手にいれ、それを使う最適な機会を探し続ける以外にもうあなたに必要なものはもうそれほどなくなるのです。

The Kyodo report says that the Ministry intends to bring 10 such individuals, and that it has set aside 21.5 million yen ($274,000) for the initiative. Of course the big question is whether or not that investment will pay off for Japan in the end, in terms of benefits to the tourism industry. If we look at recent statistics from the Japan National Tourism Organization [2], you can see how hard the disaster hit Japan’s tourism industry compared to the previous year. But looking at the breakdown of countries (see lower chart), it’s clear that the Ministry should look bring in bloggers from South Korea and Greater China, if indeed it is to bring in anyone at all.
