添削どうもありがとうございました。今後の勉強の為、質問させて下さい。a　の位置について、挿入するとすれば　more than の前がより適切なように思われますが、如何でしょうか？

Hello. I am not a linguistic expert and it is not easy for me to explain, but, basically, I would use　"more than a 5% discount", or "a higher than 5% discount" as the particle "a" corresponds to tne noun "discount" and between them I would put only modifiers to the noun. Cheers!
