Thank you for your message.
Your request is duly acknowledged.
I will inquire once again at the post office.

The writer probably meant to say こちらに「て」再度郵便局に問い合わせの方対応させて頂きます。that means the writer will inquire with the post office to find out something. (perhaps something to do with tracking of parcels?)
Hope you enjoyed Izu Oshima. I don't understand your point here though. the third sentence starts "I will, so I thought I had covered that? the sender of the message will be doing the inquiry...
Hi there, yeap, I had so much fun. The island is so small that we were able to go to most of the tourist attractions there with a rent-a-car (The car was so crappy though). Anyhow, in regards to your pointer, the writer is not necessarily saying that he/she would be "reaching a solution". Anyways, the original text was not clear enough that I'd imagine it wouldda been difficult to work on.
Glad to hear you had a good trip...lol @ rentacars, had a few myself! I suppose I always get stuck a bit on 対応, in the past in my Honda days they required it be translated as 'countermeasures' which is a bit odd anyway.
Yeap. I myself always have a hard time translating 対応, along with 担当者.
;) Japanese companies always have 用語集with very strange translation. lol.
I read on your prof that you are living in Thailand now? I'm trying to talk my husband into taking ourselves to a vacation in Phuket sometime in the near future.
We'll be here till December, my eldest son will start school in Australia in 2015 so we are moving, this is why I'm working 'baito' here for airfare. But, if you make it over before then I would be more than happy to help you out with some local knowledge etc.. We are about 30km from Bangkok.
Thanks! I really hope that we can make it there by then;) Is your eldest getting excited about starting the school and all? :) 早くもっとお小遣い稼ぎができるようになるといいですね for your airfare. Did you try another crowdsourcing translation?
Ryan (my eldest) has been going to school here in Thailand since he was 3, they start a bit early here. When we move he will be going to Primary School (Grade 1), he will be 5 next March, I'm not sure if he understands that quite yet. I don't know of any other crowdsourcing companies like this. I did have a look at Gengo, but they are a PITA, they don't want people in our language pair it seems. What else is out there you could recommend?
wow, Ryan will be an early starter. I hope he will fit into the school there when mostly other kids are 6 or 7 years old. Anyhow, I have signed up with Gengo recently, and it seems that they aren't that bad: ) Are you talking about English and Japanese language pair? They definitely are taking the language pair. You may want to look them up later. Of course, you have to pass the exam at the beginning, but afterwards, they appear to have quite a few assignments.
Sorry to bother you, it really isn't your problem, but, Tearz is at it again.... he just cost me a point.... you think I should say something or not. Others have given the same translation 5 stars that he gives 2. I think he has done 5 of these dodgy ones in a row now, so I lose a point. Just after your thoughts really if you have any.
