魔法使いであり命蓮寺に住んでいます
彼女は元々人間だったのですが、弟の死をきっかけに死を恐れるようになりました
その後人間の妖怪退治の依頼を受けた際に、密かに妖怪を助け妖術を用いて若返りを行なっていました
しかし妖怪を助けていくうちに、若返りという我心からではなく純粋に妖怪を助けたいと思うようになりました
そのらが周りの人々に知られてしまい、彼女は法界に封印されてしまいました
時を経てSyou、MinamitsuがReimu、Marisa、Sanaeの協力を得て封印は開放されました
解放後は聖輦船を変化させて命蓮寺という寺にし、人間だけでなく妖怪の為でもある寺を設立しました
原作では非常に強敵で、その強さは全ボスキャラクターの中でも1,2を争います
中でも超人「Hijiri Byakuren」というスペルカードは、能力を用いて身体能力を向上させ画面中を高速で飛び交い攻撃を仕掛けてきます
またテーマソングは非常に人気が高く白蓮のカリスマ性を強く表現しています

Hijiri Byakuren is a last boss appears in Undefined Fantastic Object. She is a witch that lives in Meirenji Temple.
She was originally a human but started fearing death after she faced her brother’s death. Later on, as she goes out in a mission to get rid of monsters per other man’s request, she secretly helps the monster and used their magic to become younger. However, as she continues to help monsters, she started feeling genuinely wanting to save monsters, instead of her selfish motivation to become younger. Other people noticed this and she was put and sealed in magical world.

After sometime had been passed, Syou and Minamitsu, together with the help from Marisa and Sanae, removed the seal and she was released. After the release, she transformed the Seiren Ship to Meirenji temple and established a place not only for human but also for specters.

Among her attacks, the spell card for superman “Hijiri Byakuren” is the one that improves her physical ability which enables her to fly fast in the screen and attack you. Also her theme song is quite popular and describes Byakuren’s charismatic character very well.
