Lunn通りというカフェや、新店舗が軒を列ねるこの新興住宅地を結ぶ通りに、ひときわ忙しいHokkaido 店はある。
まだ明るい夕刻5時頃には若いファミリーや常連で客席が埋まり始め、客席はすべて4-6人がけの個室のように仕切られており、子供連れでも気負いすることなく、くつろいで食事が可能だ。レストラン奥からはstone ridgeの住宅街が見渡せすことができる。内装はすべて、初めての飲食を経営を始めた若いオーナー夫婦がデザインし、カスタムオーダーした物だ。とても良くできている。

食事のコンセプトは、居酒屋メニューからしっかりと食べたい人も満足できるベーシックな和食メニューだが、おすすめはこの街で一番おいしいと噂のエビ入りチャーハン。ふっくらとして柔らかく、ベテランシェフの自慢の作品だ。丸揚げされたカレイのから揚げもボリュームがありとてもおいしい。野菜炒めや熱々ステーキも人気メニュー。店員はよく動きまわり、対応早く、早い時間帯は家族や年配夫婦が多いが、8時以降は酒バーとしての利用もおすすめ。客席がいっぱいでも少し待って席が空くのを待ってみよう。
