日本の冬のwildlifeは基本的に北海道(Eastern Hokkaido)で観察できるのだけど、Snow Festivalの後にEastern Hokkaidoを周って、そのあとHistorical Places(Kyoto)となると8-10日間では足りなくなってしまう。ちなみに北海道にはhistorical placesはありません。

Basically, wildlife in winter in Japan can be observed in Hokkaido (Eastern Hokkaido), but 8-10 days are not enough time to visit Eastern Hokkaido after the Snow Festival, and then visit historical places (Kyoto). By the way, there are no historical places in Hokkaido.

Although wildlife in winter basically observed in Eastern Hokkaido, Japan, it will be never enough for 8 to 10 days since you visit the Snow Festival, then touring around Eastern Japan, and after that experiencing Historical places in Kyoto. For your information, there are no such historical places in Hokkaido actually.
あと、北海道の動物はショートレンズで満足する写真が撮れるかな。
私は北海道の野生動物を撮るときは150-600mm lensesを使っているよ。
近くで観れる動物はJapanese Cranes/Swans/Eagles/Fox/Ezo Deers
動物撮影を外しても良ければEastern Hokkaidoはなくしても良いと思う。
お客さんの詳細を教えてもらっても良いですか？

And, animals in Hokkaido can be shot with a short lens photo satisfactorily.
When I shoot wide animals in Hokkaido, I use 14
50-600mm lenses.
Those I can see close to them are Japanese Cranes/Swans/ Fox/Edo Deers.
If you like without shooting animals, it might be good without Eastern Hokkaido.
