ある仕事(たとえば2桁+2桁の足し算を30問解くのに何秒かかるか)を事前に見積もらせ(40秒くらいかなー)、その後、実際にやってもらい(44秒かかったー)、その人の見積もり能力の正確さ(この場合は+10%の誤差)を測定する、という実験をした。0%に近いほど良いと仮定し、「見積もり能力」の高い人は、「非認知能力」(Non Cognitive Skill)と言われている能力も高いかどうか(相関があるかどうか)を調べた、という内容です。
