彼は生まれる子供の為に、このコレクションを手放したそうです。
彼がこれを手に入れたいきさつは、
2005年にDDが北海道にツアーと録音で長期滞在していた時に、
知り合いの紹介でスタジオで彼らに会い、ピックとカタログに直筆サインをしてもらったそうです。
（ピックとカタログは彼が自分で用意して持って行ったもので、島の所有物ではありません）
メンバー全員のサインも貰ったそうですが、それは手放す気はないそうです。
