The traffic lights were out due to power failure on my way home.
The usually bright roads became a dark landscape due to the shops almost all closed.

Today, we had a heavy rain and strong wind because of typhoon.
Is your neighborhood OK?
I'm glad that you are safe.
In Gifu, the rain reached it peak at 3pm.
On my way home, the traffic lights weren't working because of blackout.
Everything looked so dark as most of the shops were closed and the roads were not as light as always.

We had heavy rain and strong wind due to the typhoon today.

The peak time of the disaster passed Gifu at 15:00.
Traffic lights were turned off on my way home due to the power failure.
Most of the stores on those streets that are normally bright were closed, so the scenery was dull.

A typhoon arrived today and the rain and wind was amazing.

On the way home the traffic lights were out due to a power outage.
