しかし、2013年の「●」の公開後の引退宣言の後に●のアニメ制作部門が閉鎖され、
●のスタッフは解雇されてしまいました。これは「●」と同年に発表された
高畑勲監督の「●」が巨額の赤字をだしてしまい、正規雇用が維持できなくなった事が原因と言われています。
