日本の多くのアニメーターの雇用形態はフリーの出来高制で、極めて不安定なものです。
一方、●だけはアニメーターを正社員として雇用し、育成していました。
これにより●は多くの優秀なアニメーターを抱え、作品の品質を高めていました。
しかし、2013年の「●」の公開後の引退宣言の後に●のアニメ制作部門が閉鎖され、
●のスタッフは解雇されてしまいました。これは「●」と同年に発表された
高畑勲監督の「●」が巨額の赤字をだしてしまい、正規雇用が維持できなくなった事が原因と言われています。

Many animators in Japan are paid by what they produce as freelance, which is very unstable.
In the meanwhile, only xx employs an animator as full time worker and has been training him.
However, after declaring retirement upon release of "XX" in 2013, department of producing animation in xx was closed, and staff of xx were discharged.
It is said that the reason is xx directed by Isao Takahata released in the same year as xx made a large deficit, and thereby they could not continue full-time employment.
