お久しぶりです。

日本でもイギリスのテロ事件の報道を目にすることが増え、
不特定多数の被害が出てしまっていることは、残念でなりません。
さて、久しぶりになってしまいましたが私の就職活動の報告です。
医療機器メーカーの営業求人は大都市に集中しており、私の住む地方都市での求人はほぼ無いに等しく、条件でかなり苦戦してしまいました。
その為、不本意ではありましたが、他業界にも目を向けるようにしたところ、昨日29日に分離検査機器の販売会社から採用連絡をもらいました。

Open positions for sales at medical device manufacturers are concentrated in metropolitan areas unlike the rural city where I live has scarcely none, so I have had a hard time to find a good position which meets my requirements.
For that reason, although it was not what I had hoped for, I looked around other industries and have gotten a call from this distributor of separator devices for hire.
薬品や食品など、研究所の研究者への営業です。医療系ではなくバイオ系といったところです。
ありがたいことに明々後日の7月3日（月）からの出社してほしいということでした。
先方社長が私との出会いをとても喜んでくれていたので、わたしとしてもこれまでの経験を発揮して採用頂いた恩返しをしていこうと思っています。
社長はこの先、医療機器のディストリビューターの立ち上げも興味を持っているようなのでかなりやりがいをもって仕事に向き合えそうです。
It is marketing of drug and food to researchers in research institute.
It is not a medical institution but a biological institution.
I am lucky that they want me to start working there from July 3rd Monday, 3 days from today.
As they are very happy about the meeting of the president and I, I will return this kindness of being employed by using my experience so far.
The president appears to be interested in establishing distributor of medical equipment in the future.
I think that I can work there with satisfaction.
