日本のフィギュアスケート選手、勝生勇利（かつきゆうり）が、世界選手権5連覇を成し遂げたロシアの選手ヴィクトル・ニキフォロフの指導の下、「ロシアの妖精」ユーリ・プリセツキーをはじめとするライバルたちと切磋琢磨しながらグランプリファイナルで頂点を目指す物語です。

From October 2016, Asahi TV, Saga TV and each of the other broadcasters are broadcasting the TV animation "Yuri!!! ON ICE".
It's a tale about the Japanese figure skater Yuri Katsuki aiming for the top in the Grand Prix Final, under the guidance of Russian skater Viktor Nikiforov, who won 5 successive world championships, while diligently applying himself commencing his rivalry with the "Russian Elf" Yuri Plisetsky.
