フレット・ナットに減りはあるものの現状音詰まりはなし。金属部分にくすみが見られますが、YAMAHAギターに見られがちな白濁はあまり見られず塗装面の状態は良好。
固めのサウンドで、スルーネックと併せてロングサスティーンが期待できます。YAMAHAのSGシェイプの独特な鳴りと、ミドルに重心を置いたスムージーなサウンドは格別。
It is SG-1500 which was released following the SG-2000, the flag ship model at that time. The overlap of the jade green see-through color and the gold hardware is cool!
There is no sound clogging at the moment even though there is wear on fret nuts. Somberness is seen on the metal parts, however white turbidity, sometimes seen for YAMAHA guitar, is hardly seen and condition of the painted surfaces are fine.
Sound is rather hard and long sustain is expected together with through neck. The specific YAMAHA's SG shape playing and the smoothy sound centering on the middle is particular.
