山田さんは、斎藤さんからのメールを受け取った直後に、私に相談して来ました。
私は、鈴木さんが辞めた後も、ＩＢＭはＮＥＣの案件に関してこれまで以上に真剣に取り組む
積りである事を説明しました。
山田さんは、９月に向けたトライアルが予定通り進むかどうかを大変心配していましたが、私から、ＩＢＭが全勢力を上げてサポートするので問題ないであろうと話しました。また、私自身も、これまで以上に、ＮＥＣの要望を受け止め、調整を進めると話したところ、山田さんは私を信頼していると言っていました。

Mr./Ms. Yamada came to consult me soon after receiving an e-mail from Mr./Ms. Saito.
I explained that IBM would continue doing its utmost best regarding the matter of NEC after Mr.Ms. Suzuki
quits.
While Mr./Ms. Yamada was concerned about if the trial for September would proceed on schedule; I told him/her that there would be no problem as IBM would fully support it. And I told him/her that I would continue adjusting after the request by NEC, to which he/she agreed and trusted me.
