だけど、板をやすりで削ってすごく大変だったから、まさか初めから書きやす用ように
加工してある板があるなんて感激したよ～
早速つくったよ！

I am also making the same type of the art kit you gave me
as it is very popular in Japan.
But I was impressed with the processed wood for the kit
to easily write on as I thought it quite tiresome to grind the board
with a file.
I made it right away!

The art kit you gave me this time, by the way, is also very popular in Japan and also we are making it.
But, to shave the board with a rasp was very hard, so I was impressed that there was a board added which is easy to write on from the start.
I built it very fast.
