ソンクラーン（水かけ祭り）は、本来の宗教的意味合いは薄れてしまい、観光地を中心に水かけ騒ぎとなっています。
仏や神が介在していた祭りごとが、フェスティバルという世俗的なものに堕ちてしまいました。それでも世界中から人々を惹きつける魅力があるのです。
水かけ騒ぎが始まる前に、ほんの少し伝統音楽や芸能と一緒に歩いてみよう。
