Because, in the last period of Muromachi era, Sukesada was making swords running his sword-smithy, there were many swordmakers purporting to be Sukesada with his signature on their swords, leaving Sukesada works with various popular names.
Among these makers is Yozaemon Sukesada, the most famous for the excellent quality of his works, being one of the best swordmakers in Bizen Province along with Katsumitsu and Kiyomitsu, who are prestigious makers as well.
This work is, a little bit different from ones with YozaemonnoJo Sukesada's signature, supposed to be made at his own sword-smithy from its style although with a possibility of its signature being added later on. One can see the typical YozaemonnoJo Sukesada art.
