うなぎのせいろ蒸し
柳川の名物の一つがこのうなぎのせいろ蒸し。
タレを絡めて味付けしたご飯の上に、蒲焼きにしたうなぎ、錦糸玉子を乗せせいろで蒸します。
うなぎの旨味が、蒸すことによりご飯に染み込こんで上手さ倍増。
ふわふわな食感もたまりません。
10数軒の店が各店秘伝の焼き方や蒸し方、味付けで腕を競っています。
食べ比べをしてみるのも一興かも。
