日本ＰＣＯ協会は１月22日、東京・新宿のリーガロイヤルホテル東京で「ＪＡＰＣＯ新年会２０１４」を開催。会員やMICE関係者など約80人が出席した。
代表幹事を務める日本コンベンションサービス代表取締役社長の近浪弘武氏は開会の挨拶で、韓国ＭＩＣＥエキスポの出展など、協会の積極的な活動について紹介。
また閣議決定された「日本再興戦略」や「観光立国実現に向けたアクション・プログラム」、東京オリンピック・パラリンピックなどをＭＩＣＥ業界への追い風とするための協力体制づくりを呼びかけた。
The Japan PCO Association held the "JAPCO 2014 New Year's Party" on January 22nd at the Rihga Royal Hotel Tokyo in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Around 80 association members and affiliates attended.
Speaking as the chairman of the corporate executives, Mr. Kinnami Hirotake, the President of Japan convention services, introduced the Association's activities such as exhibiting at the Korea MICE Expo in his opening remarks.
He also called for the creation of partnerships in order to bring about benefits to the MICE industry from the "Japan Revitalization Strategy", the "Program of action for the realization of Japan as a tourist destination" and the Tokyo Olympics / Paralympics adopted by the Cabinet.
