古い日本刀は、先端部分を加工して短刀に作り直すので、
もともとは侍や忍者が使用した名刀だったかもしれません
刃先を研げば日本刀の本来の切れ味を知ることができるでしょう
短刀の表面にはサビの跡や研いだ傷があり、刃先が欠けている場合もあるので、日本刀の知識がある方のみご入札ください。商品購入後のクレームは一切受け付けません

This is an old short sword made with rare steel from Japan. The age cannot be determined but from the sword's shape, I think it is definitely from before the 20th century.
The old Japanese sword was remade into a short sword by processing the part with the tip.
It might have originally been a noted sword used by samurai and ninja.
If you sharpen the edge of the blade, it will be possible to understand true cutting ability of Japanese swords.
On the surface of the short sword, there are traces of rust and polished scratches, and there are parts where the edge of the blade is chipped, so please only bid if you are knowledgeable in Japanese swords. Claims after the purchase of the product will absolutely not be accepted.

It may have been originally a noted sword owned by samurais or ninjas as old samurai swords are reused to make daggers fabricating the tip.
Sharpening the tip will show you the authentically sharp cutting edge.
Bidders must have some knowledge of samurai swords since there are scratches or the trace of the rust on the surface, also because there might be the nick of the edge.

Old Japanese swords were usually made into short swards cutting their apexes, so it may have been an excellent sword used by a samurai or ninja.
On edging its apex, you can know the original clear bite of a Japanese sword.
As this sword have scars due to whet or rust on its surface and crack on its apex, I hope those who well know Japanese sword bid for it. I will take no claim after selling it.
