One of the goals that you want to accomplish with your employees is to get them to see the impact of their jobson the organization as a whole. You want them to thank in a wider sphere than the responsibilities that they currently hold. There are a number of ways to foster this, but an effective way is to involve employees in groups in which you participate within your company.

Meetings
As a manager, you take part in meetings that involve your peers as well as your superiors. In the meetings you discuss many issues, including such things as the progress of other areas of the company and problems facing the company or your area specifically.
