When a skier bent toward in losing balances, and when to tacked back backward, excessive quadriceps contraction at light knee flexion made a force to pull the tibia forward to cause ACL tear that is a possibility.
If the above skier losing its balance backward in knee extension position which causes boot0induced anterior drawer mechanism with force upward binding released designed, by this mechanism, it might have been lesser with ACL tearing.

When skiers lose the balance backward,and let it back to front, it might produce the inducing good enough force to back to front of the tibia by ACL injury occurred by the shrinkage of quadriceps femoris muscle when acting slight knee flexion.
