右上の方に見えるのは勝ちどき橋。左がわの白い屋根のある船着き場は築地市場。
カラーの写真は2014年7月撮影。22年前に撮影したときにはここに橋が架かる
とは思いもしませんでした。この橋は2020年東京五輪の晴海に出来る選手村と
都心を結ぶ重要な幹線になります。築地市場の移転後の敷地を通り新橋から通称
マッッカーサー道路につながります。五輪開催まで6年 東京がどれほど変わる
のか楽しみです。

The white and black photo was shot in August 1992. It took place at the mouth of the Sumida river.
The bridge you can see on the upper right is Kachidoki bridge. The dock of whose roof is white on the left is the Tsukiji market.
The color photo was taken in July 2014. I had never dreamed of a bridge built there when I shot it 22 years ago. This bridge will be a main line to connect the city center with the Olympic Village which will be constructed at Harumi for the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020. This main line leads to the road as known MacArthur road from Shinbashi through the site of the future Tsukiji market. I look forward to seeing how Tokyo will be changed within 6 years by the Olympic held.

The photo in color was taken in July, 2014. I did not imagine a bridge might be constructed when I took the picture 22 years ago. This bridge will be an important arterious to connect between the city center and the athlete's village which will be built in Harumi for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. It runs through the ground after Tsukiji Market will move to McArthur Road via Shinbashi. It is six years until Olympic Games. I am looking forward to seeing how Tokyo will change.
