多少日本的な言いまわした端折っているのは理解できるのですが、、、。

ご指摘の通り、「お陰様で」と「出来ました」の部分は日本的な表現ではないかと思いましたので省略いたしました。完全には一致しておりません。それ以外の箇所で感謝の表現を入れましたので、ご友人には伝わるのではないかと考えましたが、お気持ちを伝えきれていませんでしたら申し訳ございません。

Fortunately, we were able to give birth to a healthy boy. お陰様で元気な男の子を出産する事が出来ました。 があまりにも日本語的な言い方だったのですが、無事に元気な男の子を出産出しました。という意味です。英語の言い回しおかしくないですか？
「My son was born safe and healthy」、というのはいかがでしょうか? 少し言い換えましたが、これも意味が一致なはず、英語でも言われる言い方と思います

意味は通っているはずでず、質問になっても意味は一致なはず。私はこういう言い方の方は英語では自然に聞こえます。
